" Although both 67 and Awful Records sound different, they don the Converse Essentials Collection with confidence knowing that it reflects on the message they want to send. "
" Their drill style music draws inspiration from The South, and the way they style their Converse pieces reflect on the street culture of London. "

The 67 family made up of ASAP, LD, Dimzy, Monkey, SJ, and Liquez echo the UK and its gritty, grimy feel. Their drill style music draws inspiration from The South, and the way they style their Converse pieces reflect on the street culture of London. Wearing a mask, LD expresses his unique sense of style and identity more visually than the others but all these guys highlight the vibes of the London scene in Essentials pieces.
While both crews label themselves as tightly knit families, they live different family lives from one another just like in real life. 67 spends a large amount of time together and are thus more comfortable with one another. Let’s take a closer look at how both crews connect across the Atlantic through Converse’s new collection.

" Awful Records shows off what it's like to stay stylish while working. "
" What artists choose to step out of the crib with every morning is an extension of their sound and soul. "
Let 67 and the Awful Records fams show you how it’s done.
The beauty of music is in its ability to represent oneself and connect with others through not only vocal expression but also physical garb.
Two up-and-coming crews, 67 from the UK and Awful Records from Atlanta don’t sound the same, don’t come from the same place and don’t come to mind as two groups you’d compare to each other. However, both these groups do share two critical similarities: their taste in fashion and their love for another and what they do.
What artists choose to step out of the crib with every morning is an extension of their sound and soul. Although both 67 and Awful Records sound different, they don the Converse Essentials Collection with confidence knowing that it reflects on the message they want to send.
The collection, grounded on the ideas of quality, craftsmanship and fit, are all about creating classic pieces that you can keep coming back to, over and over again just like each crew’s music.
Atlanta may just be the most poppin’ city on the music scene right now with Migos’ ascension. But there’s another group from ATL who should also be on everyone’s radar. Awful Records, headed by Father, is a group of technicolor, noisy, and fun loving artists and creatives. The Awful Records fam spends most of their time working solo or removed from immediate contact with one another — that’s not to say that they don’t turn up and continue the fun from where they last left off immediately. Similar to the Converse Essentials Collection, they’re made to last even when a lot of things aren’t. Taking us on a real tour of The A via the Atlanta Motel, the Varsity Restaurant, and a recording studio, Awful Records shows off what it’s like to stay stylish while working.
The beauty of the family of Father, Dash, Ethereal, Stalin Majesty, Slug Christ, and Danger Inc. (Louie Duffle Bags and Booth Lord), is that they’re all artists, directors, producers, sound engineers, visionaries and stylish individuals. Their experimental rap sound echoes throughout the way they dress themselves in the hoodies and sweats of the Essentials collection and reflects on how they see every opportunity in life to have a fun time.
